Lombard Street

So, contrary to popular belief, Lombard is not the crookedest street in America, it is actually Vermont Street.
Here is some more info that I found online:
_Vermont, while steeper than Lombard, has fewer turns.
_The GPS-guided electronic audio tour guide featured in some rental vehicles identifies Vermont Street as the more crooked street.
_
In a recent episode of "Fact or Fiction" on the Travel Channel, Jayms Ramirez measured the sinuosity of both Lombard and Vermont streets, and proved that Vermont is indeed more "crooked" (sinuosity of 1.56 versus 1.2 for Lombard Street).
