Cons Skateboarding

This is the new cons skateboarding website that we launched yesterday.
We won the business on February 6th and began working on it in April.

Check it out, its pretty cool.

Magazines

I am finally over US Weekly. I still get it every week. I signed up what seems like forever ago for 2 years and I now find myself wondering when the heck it expires.

The current mags we get at the house are:
-US Weekly
-Martha Stewart
-Real Simple
-Car ans Driver
-Glamour
-Forbes
-The Economist

The last three we get because I had miles expiring from US Air and you can get magazine subscriptions instead. We are always getting new mags in the mail and we never have time to read them. The only ones I will renew are Real Simple and Car and Driver. I like Forbes and The Economist, but they are pricy.

I was watching the Today Show this morning and Matt Lauer was talking about a comment he heard on a local NYC news channel. A local reporter asked an African-American man, "Whats does this win mean to you?" He replied: "I can now look into my sons eyes and honestly tell him that he can do anything and be anything he wants to be." It brought me to tears. I am so proud of our country today.

Its been a while

WOW, so I just realized I had written in about a week.
This past weekend we were in NYC. We did a lot of walking around and eating and drinking.
I really wanted to go to the Statue of Liberty because i have never been there. What I didn't realize is that you need to buy tickets in advance. I went to buy them a few days before we left and they were SOLD OUT! I couldn't believe it. We went down to Battery Park and saw it from there while eating lunch. It was pretty warm all weekend, in the 60's.

I have come to the realization that as much as I LOVE New York, I am happy that I don't live there. I love the place, the energy, the endless things to do, but when I come home to VT, I am happy. I remember how lucky I am to live here.
