NORWICH, Vt. -- There's something unusually scary about pumpkins this year.Following a rain-filled summer, suppliers are waiting to see if there will be enough to go around. At the Killdeer Farm Stand, they said that all the rain from the summer could effect this year's crop. They'd like to have more pumpkins, and say that the rain can cause the spread of disease among other problems."There's several things that can happen with a lot of water, for one thing the pumpkins are sitting on the ground so there's the potential for the fruit itself to get rotted," says the farm stand's manager Scott Woolsey.In parts of Southern New England, farmers are turning to neighboring states to buy pumpkins
